How To Prepare @A2 Cow Bilona Ghee
As I told you that it is made by Bilona method. Before this, you have to get milk from indigenous cows, and after that, the milk is boiled in an earthen pot. It is left in a room overnight to convert it into curd. Now, this curd is churned with wooden tools. The obtained butter is boiled in an earthen pot or Handi, and the ghee is separated.
Following are its complete step-by-step process-
Step 1. Boiling Raw Cow’s Milk
Take raw milk of Indian Breed A2 Desi Cow, milk should be taken by “Ahinsak Dohan”, love and by hand. Apart from this, the health of the cow, the place of residence, and the weather are also responsible for good milk. According to Ayurveda, only the milk of grass-fed cows is used for A2 Ghee.
Note: 25 to 30 liters of cow’s milk is required to get 1 liter of bilona ghee. And the milk should be boiled well so that the bacteria are eliminated.
Step 2. Set The Curd
After boiling of milk, it is cooled and this milk is kept in an earthen vessel. Now change the earthen pot, add 1 or 2 spoons of curd to this milk. While adding curd, do not stir the milk vigorously, but stir very little. Now keep this milk in a closed room, but keep in mind that the room or that place should be warm. Let this milk remain in a stable state for the whole night.
Step 3: Churning The Curd
Next Morning you will find high-quality, natural curd. A wooden tool called Bilona is used to churn the curd, and the curd is placed in an earthen vessel and tied to a stable surface. Now put the wooden Bilona in this vessel and rotate it. There is also a way to rotate the wood, which means, to churn the curd, first the wood is turned clockwise and secondly in an anti-clockwise direction.
Keep in mind that while churning, keep adding a little amount of cold or hot water as per requirement.
Step 4. Separate The Makkhan(Butter)
After 35 to 40 minutes of churning, butter/makkhan is made from curd. And from this butter, ghee is made. Currently, this function is also used directly. Separate the butter and the left white color liquid is butterMilk Or Lassi.

Step 5. Heat The Butter To Get A2 Bilona Ghee
In this final step, the butter is put in a ‘Handi ’/earthen pot. And after that, this butter is heated on a low flame. This butter is left to boil on low flame, when butter is heated, a layer of solid material forms at the bottom of the vessel. However, when boiling water is also formed, which flies away like vapor.
